Last October, Emerson had the opportunity to become published in the next edition of the Children's Mercy Resource Guide. She was recommended by Dawn, the Child Life Specialist at her laser clinic. In November, Emerson had her first photo shoot! The 2008 Children's Mercy Resource Guide was finally published and we received it in early August. This guide is sent to the many physicians who refer patients to Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. It serves as a point of reference for the patient care/surgical/support services and clinics that CMH has to offer.
The picture above is one of the tabs in the guide. The text on the page says:
"Emerson Kaiser: Coloring her world. Emerson's personality bubbles over with the oranges and yellows of joy, the blues and grays of steely determination. Emerson's parents brought her to Children's Mercy as an infant to take advantage of the advanced technology and the broad array of specialty services in one location. Over the years, Emerson has brightened the hallways of Neurosurgery, Dermatology and Nephrology. She's now a healthy and happy 5-year-old, ready to color her world."
