a busy, busy weekend!
despite camden's attempts at sabotage (she cranked out a temp of 102.4 degrees early friday morning), the weekend was a success!
we were joined by grandparents (nana/papa and grandma deb/grandpa jim), godparents (aunt shannon/uncle steve) and cousins (logan/lucas/kale/avery) to celebrate emerson's first communion! she looked beautiful and was so excited! even though our assigned seats were in the way back (blaming the email- she's a grudge holder), we managed to get some good pics of the little lady! she did a wonderful job!
camden finally got her wish fulfilled: she got to get her ears pierced! she's been talking non-stop about her trip to claire's with nana. she was all smiles 'til the minute she sat in the chair! down came some tears! nana and i were afraid we lost her! and of course i looked like the mom that was forcing earrings on her child! thanks to claire's sneaky ear piercing experts, the littlest lady has earrings! and she is so proud!

It was an awesome weekend...lots of fun .... and a special occasion for a special and beautiful girl - inside and out.... and her beautiful little newly pierced ear sister!!
Glad Camden didn't ruin it for us! I am a very lucky Godmother to a beautiful girl. She rocks!
