Summer Vacay Day Three

up and at 'em!

bright and early!

to williams arizona we went.

the gateway to the grand canyon!

we started the morning with a shoot out!
then it was time to hop aboard the vintage grand canyon railway!

a two hour train ride...
full of entertainment!
and a cafe car with snacks!
the sheriff tried to arrest camden!
the girl was not amused.

we made it!
the south rim of grand canyon national park!
gorgeous!
overwhelming!
scary!
would have been a good day to put a leash on all the kids!

ate some dry hot dogs for lunch!

then headed out to hike!

the adults could have spent hours and hours exploring!
the kids, not so much!

time again to board the train!

we experienced quite the delay before departing.

unfortunately someone in the rail car in front of us went into cardiac arrest and died.

after about an hour or so, we were back on track!

so long grand canyon!

the return trip was packed with entertainment!
camden got another visit from the sheriff!
lots of dancing,
fiddle playing
and singing!
avery fell in love with jesse!
and some train robbers came aboard!
we made it safely to williams.
ate dinner at cruisers route 66 cafe!
then headed back to sedona!
