Emerson's Debut

the soccer season is underway!

emerson survived the much anticipated, dramatic and political soccer try-outs!

this year, emerson was fortunate enough to earn a position on an academy team!

for competitive soccer, the metro united soccer club adopted new this year the academy format.

top-rated players are coached by the most experienced/qualified coaches

and are able to play at the highest appropriate level to enhance their development!

for emerson, she was placed on a team coached by her former coach, chris!

she was the only addition to the team and they have welcomed her with open arms!

new format, new teammates, same coach!

expensive uniforms, three practices per week and lots of tournaments!

they will be playing up frequently, competing against u11 teams.

we couldn't be more proud of the lady!

they started the season off with a tough loss 1:2!
they played a good game and were very entertaining to watch!
can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!
