This morning we packed up, loaded the cars and said goodbye to Breckenridge!
After much debate, Ryan and Steve we decided to forgo our last night at Quandry Peak and stay in downtown Denver. Not going to lie, it saved us lots of time and gas. However, we would have loved to stay our final night at the cabinet cabin.
The girls were more than thrilled to spend some time in the car! They didn't spend every waking moment arguing. Not my kids.
We arrived in Denver, checked in to the downtown Sheraton and hopped on the mall trolley. It dropped us off within walking distance to Coors Field.
Today's game: Colorado Rockies vs. Tampa Bay Rays.
Rockies 4, Rays 3.
It was an awesome game! Beautiful weather, beautiful stadium, good company!
Jamey dropped almost caught a foul ball! He's not bitter.
After the game, we got word that the players exit thru Gate 8. So off we headed for some autographs! Connor, a ballpark worker boy, helped us play 'player or not-a-player' til we landed Ubaldo Jimenez, the Rockies' pitcher!
We had dinner at Rock Bottom Brewery, did some shopping and headed back for some sleep!
